Two Hundred Miles of Thoughts – Limits?

The sky is not the limit...I am.

Thoughts from the bike…

On century ride number two last week, I started feeling the effects of a headwind about thirty-three miles into my trek. A headwind on a bicycle is no fun but the good news is if you are riding a loop (out and back) there will be a tailwind awaiting you at the turn.

Needless to say, I fought through the thoughts of giving up and enjoyed riding the final fifty miles with a 12mph wind assisting me.

How many times do we give up because of life’s headwinds?

How many times do we give up just before a tailwind is about to take us to the next level?

Mental toughness is not something we are born with it is something we develop as we overcome one self-imposed limit at a time.

Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ Jesus, who strengthens me.”
