The following is a writing from our Alaska trip two years ago.
Alaska Trip – Day Three – June 25, 2016
Obscure/Relevance Topic: Â Horizon
I rose early today and found a room on the ship with a view of the horizon.
Fog and drizzle made my focus a bit challenging but the mystery of the horizon and its contents excited me. Â The ocean presents as boundless and endless but the horizon encourages me to think there is something there.
Heading towards a new horizon is traversing to an image where two unknowns converge and fresh terrain awaits us.
Kind of like life; new horizons, fresh terrain…knowing we will never arrive.
Our past horizons were there to shape us.
Our future horizons are their to excite us.
Let neither cause you to lose grip of the present.
Highlight of the day: Â The fog and drizzle left us. Â We were able to watch the sun set in the horizon.
