Quote Reflection
Is there anything that lifts your spirit more than receiving a thank you note or a sincere verbal thank you?
I believe Allen knew what he was talking about when he captured his thought on thanks.
Giving thanks is not only an urgent duty and responsibility but also an act that creates a spiritual balance between giving and receiving.
I was blessed to have my eyes opened to a vibrant, multicolored sunrise a week ago. I paused and allowed its radiant energy to penetrate my soul, and upon completion of my reception of a true blessing from God, I said, “Thank you, God, you always know what I need.”
At that moment, I was overwhelmed with a feeling of peace and calm…God’s gifts to me for thanking Him.
A couple of feelings I lacked the day before.
Do you lack peace and calm?
Try thanking someone, or better yet, give God thanks…His blessings are abundant.
We receive more when we give thanks than we receive from the reason we are giving thanks.
Psalm 100:4, “Give thanks to Him, bless His name!”
