Reflection
There is so much energy to be gained when we can be ourselves–the person God created us to be.
It’s tiring to try to be something we are not.
We live in a time when it is easy to compare our lives to others. Unfortunately, social media gives us this “luxury.”
To overcome the temptation to be more interested in what others are doing with their lives than I am with my own, I intentionally make time for myself.
I’m an early riser for various reasons, but none more critical than it affords me precious time with myself so that I may be still and connect my body, mind, and soul to their Power Source in preparation for another day.
Do you make time to be the person God created you to be?
Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth!”
