Anger Dump

For every minute you remain angry, you give up sixty seconds of peace of mind.

— Ralph Waldo Emerson —

Reflection

I’ve written my fair share of blogs about the devil’s favorite four-letter word (fear), but a by-product of fear is the devil’s favorite five-letter word–ANGER.

If you feel as though you never have peace of mind, do an anger check–undealt with anger robs us of our serenity.

The best way to deal with anger is to name, claim, and dump it.

Keep in mind dumping may take days and sometimes months and even the help of a professional.

The only way we can be the best we can be is to rid ourselves of the worst we are carrying with us.

James 1:19-20, “My dear brothers and sisters, take not of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because our anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.”
