Reflection
The opening quote reminded me of when I was having lunch with a fellow entrepreneur.
I asked him when he first realized he wanted to own a business. He looked at me, and after a few seconds of thought, he said, “I was sitting in a college class, bored to death, and began drawing the logo for my company which then didn’t exist. Eventually, I dropped out of college and put that “imagined” logo to good use when I started my own business.”
Four decades later, my friend’s “imagined” logo helped propel him into a multimillionaire whose work has made the world a better place.
It obviously takes a desire to get the ball rolling when working to attain a BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal).
Still, another key component is having the expectancy to make it happen.
As human beings, we have the ability to imagine. No other animal is given this gift from God.
What will the achievement of your 2023 BHAG look like?
What will you and/or your life look like when you achieve your 2023 BHAG?
Capture that image, and don’t let go of it. Begin seeing it happen in your mind at least once a day.
Desire without expectancy is a road to nowhere.
Mark 11:24, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
