If you are depressed you are living in the past, if you are anxious you are living in the future, if you are at peace, you are living in the present…

For thousands of years, writers, poets, philosophers, and theologians have been advocating their particular methods or techniques for silencing the noise within us. They all came to more or less the same conclusion that decent peace of mind can only be attained by subduing the ramblings of the mind, even if only for a minute or two…
Making peace with your own backstory, and accepting that not all of it is good, is vital…
Gratitude eats anxiety for breakfast every day of the week. No matter the circumstance–you can always find something to be thankful for.
Where do you go for peace if you don’t have God in your life, if you’re not connected on a moment-by-moment basis? Jesus Christ has an incredible offer for you…Matthew 11:28, “If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to me and I will give you rest.” (CEV)
Full peace will come only when Christ returns. But until that day we can know His peace in our hearts and can be messengers of His peace in the world, as we commit our lives to Him.
The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak…
Peace begins with a smile…
Be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath…

“To be one, to be united is a great thing. But to respect the right to be different is maybe even greater.” ~Bono
