“It’s true that charisma can make a person stand out for a moment, but character sets a person apart for a lifetime.” ~John Maxwell
I wrote a rather lengthy blog about character a year and a half ago:Â http://www.eaglelaunch.com/character and it serves as a great guide for me to try to live by.
Notice I use the word try, as I know I am not perfect and sometimes fail in my efforts in walking the character walk but the key is I recognize my flaws and try my best to fix them (with God’s help) a day at a time.
Take a moment and reflect where your character may be hindered because of your charisma (talking the walk) and jot some action steps down on how to overcome this.

Proverbs 10:9; “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.”
Over the next couple of months I will be using a John Maxwell quote and expounding my experience on it. John Maxwell is one of my “book mentors” as I’ve read most of his books on leadership and how to do it Christ’s way (my interpretation).
