If I’m not the problem, then there is no solution.
This is an often used phrase that takes a little bit of time to understand and believe, but once you DO understand it and believe it; oh how peaceful life becomes!!
Living the serenity prayer is a great way to handle your “problems” (i.e. you).
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change–(other-people, places and things),
The courage to change the things I can–(me),
And the Serenity to know the difference–(wisdom gained by letting go and choosing to fix ourselves instead of trying to fix others).
