“We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret or disappointment.” ~Jim Rohn
A simple piece of advice I often give to young people who are contemplating their future and agonizing over making the right decision is; “do something.”
Doing something keeps us moving, it helps us stay out of procrastination and keeps us in anticipation. Doing something opens new doors and closes old doors. Doing something forces us to develop discipline to some degree, whether we want it or not. Doing something and always moving forward, is a great way to avoid the pain of regret or disappointment.
Take a look at your roles and responsibilities and ask yourself if you are living in a way where each night you can lay your head on your pillow and say “thanks Lord for another regret-free day.” If not, what are you waiting for?
DO SOMETHING!
