The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on, or blame. The gift is yours – it is an amazing journey – and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins. ~Bob Moawad
Notice the first sentence as it tells us it is our decision whether or not our life becomes our own.
This decision is the start of incorporating discipline into our lives because without discipline it is way too easy to make excuses, blame others and rely on others.
Have you written out your life vision statement yet? Have you clarified your roles and responsibilities? Remember, these two steps create your life purpose and discipline follows purpose.
It is much easier to take ownership of your life when you know what your purpose is. If you don’t know what your purpose is, who owns your life?
