Whipping the devil – Day 3 – Perfection

“The greatest mistake you can make in life is to continually be afraid you will make one.” ~Elbert Hubbard

Perfectionism is a great tool the devil uses to paralyze us.  If he can get us to think we are only worthy when we do things perfectly, eventually it will wear us down to a point where we freak out when we aren’t perfect and/or we simply give up because we know we will never be perfect.

Most successful people have failed a whole lot more than they have ever succeeded.  I write from experience.

There is nothing wrong with striving for perfection, but expecting perfection is not realistic.

Pray-Picture-Plan-Practice…and have no expectations of results.  If you do this, you won’t be perfect but you will be darn good.
