I love watching Joyce Meyer in the morning. She is so practical yet so deep, so serious, yet funny. She is effective because she has lived on both sides of the tracks. As I would say, “she writes and teaches from experience.”
The other day she was talking about breaking habits and discussing the horrible spending problem the people in our country have (of course we all have a great role model in our federal government). 🙂
In all the many accomplishments the Good Lord has blessed our family with, the greatest was becoming debt free.
Once we began to experience the blessings that came with getting out of debt we better understood how the devil uses debt to weigh people down, hold people back, and make peoples’ decisions for them.
There is no freedom when it comes to debt.
At the end of the day all the wealth in the world is God’s and it is distributed to us in various ways. How we handle our money is definitely observed by God and that point takes us right back to Joyce Meyer’s quote above, and the scripture verse below.
Debt sucks, get out of it, no matter how painful and long it takes, and get ready for the blessings to pour in.
I write from experience.
