The opening quote certainly resonated with me.
When mired in a hopeless pit, we can access instant hope by simply calling on Him for help no matter how deep the pit is.
After that, it’s up to us to open our minds and become willing to do the things we need to do in order to climb out of the pit one step at a time.
I always write from experience.
Psalm 34:17-20, “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.”
