Reflection
Can you imagine what it would be like if we could get a Google Earth view of all the footprints of our lives?
Some would have many, some would have few, some would have few but go far, and some would have many but go nowhere.
I have to believe God pays attention to our footprints but pays even more attention to how our footprints affect the lives of others.
When I saw this quote, I thought about our son Jordan. Although he walks a lot more than we ever thought possible, his footprints are few and far between when compared to someone without a disability. The thing about Jordan’s footprints is they make indelibly positive impacts on every life they intersect.
It’s not the number of steps you take in life that matters; it’s the number of lives your steps impact.
Philippians 2:4 says, “Let each of you look not only to his own interests but also to the interests of others.”
