I don’t know if there is anything that gets me more pumped up than helping people identify their gifts, strengths and passions in order to create a livable Purpose Statement for their lives.
I was blessed with this opportunity yesterday, as I took some people through my StratField Personal Leadership Process in my first “Purpose Wins” workshop of the year.
It was so energizing hearing the attendees’ various Purpose Statements at the end of our workshop.
Frederick Beuchner once said, “The place God calls you to is where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.”
I was in that ‘place’ yesterday.
Have you taken the time to identify your God-given gifts and strengths?
Have you ever taken the time to note your passions/deep gladness?
The cool thing about identifying our purpose is we can live it regardless of where life takes us.
Romans 8:28, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
Heavenly Father, You have given me unique gifts, strengths and passions. Please give me the desire to dig deeper and find the purpose you created me to fulfill. It’s in Your Son’s name I pray. Amen.
