Gratitude and Nothing Lacking

It's a funny thing about life, once you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for, you begin to lose sight of the things that you lack.

Reflection

We all possess dueling mentalities–one of abundance and the other of scarcity.

Abundance says, “What’s in it for others?”

Scarcity says, “What’s in it for me?”

Abundance says, “Why not me?”

Scarcity says, “Why me?”

Abundance says, “I get to do this.”

Scarcity says, “I have to do this.”

Abundance says, “This too shall pass.”

Scarcity says, “This will never end.”

Abundance says, “There is plenty for everyone.”

Scarcity says, “I better get mine.”

When I was stripped of everything I thought I had to have, I was finally able to see everything that I really had. Abundance is in us and around us–if we so choose to see it.  ~JMeyer

John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
