The events that took place in our nation’s capital this past Wednesday made me pause and reflect.
Evil is having it’s way with the world right now. The only way that happens is when we allow it.
Our society is fixated with the news and lots of people have twenty-four hour news programs cycling within eye and/or earshot throughout their waking hours. If they aren’t listening to and/or watching the news they are entrenched in their social media feeds.
The devil has taken up permanent residence inside all of this garbage and if we aren’t careful our hearts will be consumed with garbage…while this precious thing called life is moving on with or without us.
Personally, the news angers me and I have no need or desire for anger to be a part of my life. I watch as little news as I possibly can.
Social media doesn’t anger me. Social media takes precious time from me…if I allow it.
The devil loves for us to get angry and to waste time. I hate the devil and I try my best to live a life representative of that fact.
