I wrote briefly about character yesterday and today I take a little deeper dive on its cousin, integrity.
Tough times like these often put a strain on both.
I’m sure you’ve heard various definitions of integrity with one of my favorites coming from Will Rogers; “Lead your life so you wouldn’t be ashamed to sell the family parrot to the town gossip.”
An integrity quote I utilize quite often when I’m teaching leadership classes comes from Henry Cloud’s book Integrity; “The ability to handle the demands of reality.”
How well are you handling the demands of our current reality?
Is your integrity growing stronger or weaker during this crazy pandemic?
Proverbs 10:9, “The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out.” (NIV)
