Reflection
The last couple of years has caused people to thirst for peace.
Peace of mind
Peace of heart
Peace of soul
Commit to making this a mighty Easter for those around you by allowing God to quench the world’s thirst for peace through you.
Easter isn’t just a day…it’s a way of living–a way to remain steadfast through the storms.
HE IS RISEN–ALWAYS and FOREVER!
John 16:33, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart: I have overcome the world.
Philippians 4:6-7, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Journal your thoughts:
What am I grateful for today?
In what way(s) will I bring light to the world today?
What will I deny myself so I may draw closer to God and gain more peace in my life today?
Prayer:
God, I offer myself to Thee—To build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self, that I may better do Thy will. Take away my difficulties that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of life. May I do Thy will always! Amen.
