Lent Day 15 – Peace and The Unseen

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

— The Apostle Paul - 2 Corinthians 4:18 —

Reflection

It is so easy to allow the world to take our focus off the eternal.

Those living in fear are usually those who are more concerned with the world than they are with the eternal.

It’s only natural because we can see the world, whereas the eternal is something we can’t see but guarantees to eclipse our best days on Earth exponentially.

Choosing faith over fear will never let you down if you genuinely believe.

Journal your thoughts:

What am I grateful for today?

In what way(s) will I bring light to the world today?

What will I deny myself to draw closer to God and gain more peace in my life today?

Prayer:

God, I offer myself to Thee—To build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self, that I may better do Thy will. Take away my difficulties so that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of life. May I do Thy will always! Amen.
