Reflection
The other day my soul was yearning for a mind-numbing workout.
I exercise almost every day but, due to being elderly 🙂 , I don’t exercise with the same intensity I did twenty years ago.
Anyway, I listened to my body, mind, and spirit and ripped through a very intense sixty-minute training session.
Take that AARP!
After the workout…
My body relaxed.
My mind mellowed.
My spirit strengthened.
Oh, the beauty of listening to one’s body.
Questions
Do you make time to listen to the needs of your soul?
Do you routinely connect and listen to the needs of your body?
Do you routinely connect and listen to the needs of your mind?
Do you routinely connect and listen to the needs of your spirit?
Do you make time to fulfill the needs of your soul?
Observation
We live in a crazy world where people spend considerably more time glued to their smartphones “listening” to the needs of the world than they do listening to the needs of their souls.
Fuel your body, mind, and spirit with the good stuff…it is indeed your grandest and greatest responsibility.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20, “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”
