Reflection
Almost twenty years ago, I envisioned starting a church service focused on addiction recovery.
The vision rose from my brokenness.
I experienced the transformative and healing powers of Jesus, and I wanted others suffering from addiction to share in His extraordinary powers.
The vision became a reality in 2005, and after ten years of serving as the lead person, I decided to “retire.”
The other day, I was thinking about how many people from our recovery church evolved into leaders of the recovery movement. Six people immediately came to mind. My mind then began doing the math of the exponential impact of those six leaders if they raised six more leaders each.
That’s how God works if you let Him.
Question
What brokenness in you can provide healing for the world?
Psalm 147:3, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
