The thought of doing the same thing day in and day out totally bores me. I’ve always been a ‘next adventure’ type of person.
The primary reason I’m this way is because I totally ‘get’ the brevity of life.
I know I’m not going to live forever and ever since I survived my ‘long weekend’ in the mid-80’s, I’ve tried to live my life to its fullest every day.
Unfortunately, I was reminded of the brevity of life a few weeks ago when I paid my respects to a family who lost their husband and dad at the age of 48.
Every five to six years I find myself looking for something new to create and build. Even when I was entrenched in my pharmacy career, which spanned three decades, I shifted focus and responsibilities every few years.
For the past ten years I’ve really focused on tapping into the right side of my brain by writing posts for my EagleLaunch website. Over the past six years, I’ve published a thought on a daily basis.
Studying quotes, tying them to scripture and sharing my random thoughts has been quite enjoyable. In fact I believe every focused and driven person needs to intentionally tap into the right side of the brain in order to add color to his or her life-journey.
I started this blog with a goal of making a dent in the devil’s playground (the internet).
Over the past ten years my little blog site was visited over a million times. I believe WE made a dent.
To you, my readers, I say THANK YOU!
I’m about to to turn a page and begin a new life-chapter—once again.
This is my final blog–for now.
Life is short.
Don’t let it become too predictable, consistent, and mundane.
If you are feeling comfortable, uncomfortabalize yourself by embarking on a new adventure.
And if you want the new adventure to be even more adventurous–take God along with you…I write from experience.
Nuff said.
