The Courage Ladder

Courage is the ladder on which all the other virtues mount.

— Brandan Francis Behan —

Courage allows us to love when the world says “don’t love.”

Courage allows us to try and understand another person’s perspective when the world says “no he is wrong.”

Courage allows us to move on and not look back, when the world says, “you’re gonna regret this.”

Courage allows us to forgive, when the world says, “he wronged you, never forgive and especially never forget.”

I could go on and on and on and on.

I try to be courageous in everything I do as it leads to a much deeper and expansive life.

Courage is simply fear that’s been prayed for.

My courage is directly proportionate to my faith.
