This thought came to me as Lori and I recently spent a day in Ephesus, Turkey. Ephesus is where the apostle John (Jesus’ favorite disciple) spent his final years and was laid to rest.  The book of Ephesians in the Bible was written by Paul and directed to the citizens of Ephesus.
Ephesus served as the final home for Mary, the mother of Jesus as John took her there after the death of Jesus.
An abundance of great lessons from the past is located in Ephesus.
