Kindness is Remembered

Be good to people. You will be remembered more for your kindness than any level of success you could ever attain.

Reflection

Maybe it’s because I’m growing closer to my judgment day, but how I will be remembered means more to me now than ever, so I jotted down a few thoughts.

I want to be remembered as:

  1. An ardent, flawed follower of Jesus who was aware of his imperfections and tried his best to tame them.
  2. A great husband
  3. A great father and grandfather
  4. A great son
  5. A great leader
  6. A great friend
  7. A person who inspired others to become the person God created them to be.
  8. A man who chose to be kind over being right.

I still have a lot of work to do.

How do you want to be remembered?

Judgment day is coming.

Be remembered for something that matters.

Matthew 12:36, “I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak,” (ESV)

Luke 6:35, “But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.”
